What’s the Difference? Leave me spirit, c’mon and leave me now, Leave me as soon as you will allow. At the break of day and not a soul around, The starling’s song is the only sound. Restless spirits arising from the void, Rocketing past wayward asteroids. What’s the difference? What does it matter? What’s the difference? Leave me spirit, c’mon and leave me now, Leave me as soon as you will allow. What’s the difference? What does it matter? What’s the difference?

The Girl with No Tattoo Here’s a song for the girl I never knew, Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a line for the heart she never stole, And another for the hand she’ll never hold. This one sounds crazy but it’s true, Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a line for the lie she never told, Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo. Where’s her little hideout? Maybe I can find out. Suppose it’s none of my business, But what’s the difference? Use hocus pocus, Regain my focus, On the song I used to do, For the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a song for a love that never grew, Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a line for the spots we’d never visit, And another that’s somehow even less specific. This line is only passing through, Through the song for the girl with no tattoo. This line didn’t hurt too much, now did it? Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo. Where’s she goin’? Without her tattoos showing? How does one see them, And give them their freedom? Suppose they’re all living, Under her clothes and singing, That song I used to do, For the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a verse I’ll send along in lieu, Of a verse for the girl with no tattoo. Here’s a line that can barely scratch the surface, And another that will never fulfill its purpose. Seems this song may have gone a bit askew, Where’s the song for the girl with no tattoo? And the line that’ll finish every verse is, Here’s a song for the girl with no tattoo.

Risk Factor 05:52
Risk Factor She’s a risk factor, A bad actor. She’d say, “Why you always gotta run your mouth, About shit no one wants to think about?” If true, That’s a bastard. Cuz I thought I was always eloquent, And chose topics that were relevant. Not so, Says risk factor. Oh, so why you gotta go and clip my wing, Keep me outta everything? Leave me spirit, c’mon leave me now, Leave me as soon as you will allow. Tell me what you think I got to lose, Just please, don’t tell me the truth, Cuz that’s old news. She’s a risk factor, A textbook detractor. She’d say, “Why ya always gotta go to bed, When the conversation is getting interesting?” If true, What’s she after? That can be quite a haul to pull, Being symptomatically inseparable. Not so, Says risk factor. Oh, so why you gotta go and clip my wing, And keep me outta everything? Leave me spirit, c’mon leave me now, Leave me as soon as you will allow. Tell me what you think I got to lose, Just please, don’t tell me the truth, Cuz that’s old news. She’s a risk factor, An unnatural disaster. She’d say, “Why you always gotta leave the house, While I’m sittin’ here on the couch?” If true, What does it matter? I felt I gave all that I could give, Infected, essentially innocent. Not so, Says risk factor. So, why you gotta go and clip my wing, And keep me outta everything? Leave me spirit, c’mon leave me now, Leave me as soon as you will allow. I’m unsure which way that I should go, And I’m toppling like a domino. Your mixed messages are subliminal, Intentions clearly criminal. Your disposition appears despicable, Laying limber as an imbecile. So, why you gotta go and clip my wing, And keep me outta everything? Floyd On 45 03:22
Floyd on 45 They say that back in the day, You may play a single once and throw it away. “Games for May,” Or “See Emily Play,” How could you forgive yourself for throwing it away? Tossing Animals around, Lost in the Animals’ sound. By the time I get a chance to see ‘em, They may be locked up in a museum. But I hope while I’m still alive, I can find Floyd on 45. I can find Floyd on 45. In ’65, before I was alive, For 49 cents you could by a 45. You’re all wrong, About “Piper at the Gates of Dawn,” C’mon back to bed and put “Lucifer Sam” on. Tossing Animals around, Lost in the Animals’ sound. By the time I get a chance to see ‘em, They may be frail as the Coliseum. But I hope while I’m still alive, I can find Floyd on 45. I can find Floyd on 45.

Pilcher’s Flowers Tell me what it is that makes you tick. Would it make me sick? Or, is it domestic. Treat me nice and in a little while, With a certain smile, You’ll see my domicile. When you don’t know what to say, Pilcher’s flowers are on the way. Oh. Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same? (Whoa) Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same? Open the trapdoor and let me in, You’re hiding cinnamon, Inside a bobby pin. You may as well allow a little sin, And when I’m feeling grim, You are a vitamin. When you don’t know what to say, Pilcher’s flowers are on the way. Oh. Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same? (Whoa) Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same? Crown the king and kill the visuals, It’s such a little pill, But could be overkill. Mr. Owl ate my metal worm. That is a palindrome, So says my telephone. When you don’t know what to say. Pilcher’s flowers are on the way. Oh. Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same? (Whoa) Will she be out there calling your name? (Whoa) Will you be out there doing the same?

Cast a Long Shadow I thought I could forget, Or adjust my mindset. The closer that you get, Longer your silhouette. I suppose you ought to know. I’m sure it was a slog, Acting as my moon dog. And with your monologues, You were my demagogue. That was a long time ago, I suppose you already know, You cast a long shadow. Rings around the moon, On a tablespoon. Rings around the sun, On a cinnamon bun Am I below zero? I suppose I ought to know, I cast a long shadow. I cast a long shadow, I cast a long shadow.

Carol Kane 01:53
Carol Kane A 70’s actress, Of the highest status. Capable of sadness, and madness, and joy. A silver screen beauty, Who spoke soft and truly, Made it her duty to burn brighter than film. How bright were the lights Carol Kane? And when I see your name, It’s a pleasure to see you, In this here sneak preview, It’s a pleasure to see Carol Kane. As soon as Carol was famous, She met Betty Davis, Before her greatness had faded and they drank, and they laughed. Listen to her talking, About Andy Kaufman, Carol would soften the screen and burn brighter than film. How bright were the lights Carol Kane? And when I see your name, In the coming attractions, I get satisfaction, It’s a pleasure to see Carol Kane. It’s a pleasure to see Carol Kane. It’s a pleasure to see Carol Kane.

On The Take 04:10
On the Take At the break of day, I was broken down. On the fire escape with not a soul around. Where the starling’s song is the only sound, And the sun radiates between the swollen clouds. She says, “Wait, My Heart is on the take. And it might take the bait, As my heart is known to sway. I can’t be held responsible, For a heart that acts improbable, illogical, or volatile.” Set me free, set me free from all of the asteroids. Set me free, set me free from the active cannabinoids, Set me free, set me free from the happy accidents. Set me free, set me free from the sacred ingredients. She says, “Wait, My Heart is on the take. And it might take the bait, As my heart is known to sway. I can’t be held responsible, For a heart that acts illogical, improbable, or volatile.”
